Matria. Built in Black.
A small-batch soap brand needed to feel like it had always existed... and like nothing else on the market. As the creative director behind Matria, I built the identity, the voice, the packaging, and the content strategy from the ground up.
Black was non-negotiable. In a category drowning in kraft paper and beige, it was the fastest way to signal that this wasn't that. It also did something more subtle: it made the natural ingredients pop. Handcrafted bars wrapped in black packaging don't look rustic, they look considered. That tension between raw and refined became the visual language of the brand, carried consistently across every touchpoint: The labels, the tablecloths at farmer's markets, the pop-up trailer.
Nothing broke the line.
The result is a brand rooted in Colombian heritage and ancestral plant wisdom that looks like it belongs anywhere in the world.
